Brainstorming about Rocket Animation

ROCKET ANIMATION PROJECT

Location:	In the dark
Equipment:	Lighted buttons
Time:	Night
Emotion:	Excited
Problem:	Accidentally pushes a button and takes off

Original Story Structure	An excited rocket (playing around, jumping, clapping arms etc.). The rocket suddenly sees glowing buttons and jumps towards them. The rocket then jumps around the buttons (excitement obvious). Then, the rocket accidentally pushes one button. The whole scene is trembling. The rocket is surprised and takes off (very fast).	Grade
Idea Variation 1	Baby rocket. Scared because lost in the dark. Suddenly sees lights, jumps excited towards those lights. Then, the rocket jumps around them and accidentally pushes on one and takes off (surprised, happens really fast).	7
Idea Variation 2	Bored rocket playing with a ball, suddenly sees lights, is excited about it, jumps around and same story.	4
Idea Variation 3	Rocket being annoyed by a fly, tries to push it away. angry, and when the rocket wants to smash the fly she hits his start button (on his belly) and takes off.	2
Idea Variation 4	Rocket waiting for the light becoming green (impatient, excited). Once it gets green, takes off but hits the traffic light and falls.	8
Idea Variation 5	Rocket with a “start” button on his belly. Plays with a ball, stumbles on it. Fall forwards, hitting his start button (you can see on his face that it sucks). She is activated and flies from left to right vertically.	6
Idea Variation 6	Baby rocket. We see all the “big rockets” taking off. The child is waiting for his turn with impatience. Once it’s his turn, he very proudly pushes his start button but won’t take off. He tries again annoyed and getting angry. Finally takes off very fast (surprised).	3
Idea Variation 7	Anthem idea. The rocket tries to get his anthem strait (upset, struggles getting it straight). Once it’s strait, the light on the top of the anthem becomes red and he takes off very fast (surprised).	5
Idea Variation 8	Child rocket waiting (very impatiently and excited) for the traffic light becoming green. Once it turns green, he pushes his start button (on his belly) very proudly. Waiting time (nothing happens), he looks down at the button a bit angry and tries several times to hit it (with anger), pushing it harder and faster. The top of his anthem then becomes red. He looks up (hun?!, surprised, questioning) and takes off very fast. His eyes don’t follow and “stay in the air”, looking at the audience either very surprised or annoyed (annoyed eye roll, “it happened again…)	1
